Please help us continue to help horses that can not speak for themselves
Colorado Thoroughbred Rescue thanks our supporters!
Without your help, CTR would be unable to help these thankful horses.

Thank you to everyone who has donated funds towards auction rescues or towards veterinary treatment of CTR horses.
Your generous contribution has made it possible to allow us to help horses that can't speak for themselves.

- Adoptive Homes are desperately needed for our rescued horses.  By adopting one rescued horse, you
allow the rescue to save the life of another horse.  If you can not adopt, please consider
sponsoring a horse
that is waiting to find a home.  Full sponsorships are normally $200 a month, however, partial
sponsorships begin at $20 a month.  Please
contact us if you are interested in sponsoring or fill out an
application
if you are interested in adoption.

-Donations of
horse supplies (halters, de-wormers, medicines).

-Donations of
hay and grain are always needed.  Donations can also be made via credit card or check to
our feed store,
Ranch Way Feed.   They can be reached at 1-800-333-7929.  We prefer Triple Crown feeds,
which are approximately $17.95 per 50 pound bag.

-
Fencing supplies (prefer 4" round posts and 1"x6"x 16' wooden boards) We get most of our fencing
supplies from: Forks Lumber Company, PO Box 1151, Laporte, CO 80535   (970) 221-1756 (Please speak
with Amy)

-The rescue runs completely off volunteers.
Volunteers may work directly with the horses or may help with
administrative tasks, such as writing grants. Many volunteers can help without ever having to come to the
rescue!

-
Monetary donations are always needed and are used to pay 'bail' on horses, and cover veterinary care on
injured horses.
As a non-profit organization, Colorado TB Rescue lives or dies based on donations.

-A heavy duty truck or trailer (currently we operate solely on volunteer's trucks and trailers).  A strong truck
and trailer would allow CTR to personally deliver adopted horses and would enable more funds to be used
to help horses.
